Welcome to my Spanish Oaks Ranch wedding photography page! Here, you’ll find helpful information about Spanish Oaks Ranch as well as my photography style and what you can expect with my wedding photography.

About Spanish Oaks Ranch

Spanish Oaks Ranch is a beautiful wedding venue in northern San Luis Obispo County. It’s half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco, making it ideal for family flying in and wanting to see the beautiful California coast line.

As a family owned and operated venue, Spanish Oaks Ranch makes you feel like family and they really know how to make you feel extra special on your wedding day. The ranch has 480 acres to explore and has been a family run business since 2006.

Spanish Oaks Ranch Wedding Photography

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at Spanish Oaks Ranch is the vast array of unbelievable locations for photos. The owners encourage exploration and it’s so fun to take a few minutes after the ceremony to find some unique spots for wedding photos.

One of my favorite locations is in the open field behind the barn. The ancient oak trees and open field make for some of the most beautiful sunset photos.

Another favorite spot for me is among the pine trees around the sweetheart pond. It’s not common to have pine trees in the area, so this spot is unique and offers some amazing scenery for your wedding photos.

“Linda shot our wedding in early August. From the beginning of the planning process to the execution on the wedding day Linda was extremely helpful. She made sure all the details were covered, scouted the venue for good shots and kept us on schedule throughout the day. Our pictures turned out great and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Highly recommend!”

Ceremony Site

There are several ceremony locations that are favorites among brides at Spanish Oaks Ranch, but you are also welcome to choose your own, unique spot at the ranch. The main pond has a beautiful deck overlooking the water and the big oak tree next to the barn makes it easy for guests to linger after the ceremony.

Couple’s Portraits at Spanish Oaks Ranch

Most of the best locations for couple’s portraits at Spanish Oaks Ranch are close to the barn, so you’ll be able to stay close! This will help maximize the time you are able to spend with your family and friends, rather than traveling to various locations for your wedding photos. These are a few of my favorite locations for couple’s photos

  • Front barn doors
  • In the field with the oak trees
  • At the fountain
