A Villa Loriana Summer Wedding
Johnathan and Chelsea had the perfect, dream wedding at Villa Loriana in San Luis Obispo. Every detail has been thought out to perfection from the bridal suite to the cocktail hour to the sparkler exit. The whole day was like none other and I’m so honored to have been a small part of their big day. For this wedding, I was second shooting for Nikkels Photography.
Getting Ready
Chelsea had a blast with her bridal party getting ready for the big day. The girls all sipped champagne while getting hair and makeup done and no detail was left to chance. This bride had the nicest group of girls surrounding her for the most important day of her life!
Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the vast garden at Villa Loriana under a beautifully decorated arch.
Formal Wedding Photos
The formal portraits took place in several of the beautifully landscaped areas of the villa. There was no shortage of amazing locations to choose from.
Wedding Reception
The reception hall at Villa Loriana is unlike anything I’ve ever seen on the Central Coast. The beautiful venue was only out-shined by this gorgeous couple. This Villa Loriana summer wedding was one of the most amazing weddings I have ever been honored to photograph.
Details
One of my favorite things to do at weddings is get photos of all the details. Since I was second shooting at this wedding, I didn’t photograph all the details. I did, however, get the honor of photographing the dress. Here are some of my favorite images of the wedding gown.

Morro Bay Engagement Session
What’s it like to have me as your photographer? It’s easy. That’s the most common word I’ve heard used to describe what it’s like. I can’t tell you how many couples have told me how much fun they had during their photo session.
What makes it easy? So glad you asked. I like to make photo shoots fun. No one likes to sit and pose for photos for an hour and I get that! When I take photos of couples, I like to have them play games with each other and just have a ton of fun. You might find yourself giving each other piggy back rides or running through the freezing cold ocean. No matter what you end up doing during your photo session, I can guarantee you’ll have at least a little fun (but probably a whole lot).
