The Dana Powers House is a beautiful ranch in southern San Luis Obispo County. This wedding venue features a large, beautiful barn, many landscaped areas that are great for wedding photos and even a lemon orchard. The many out building on the property offer a variety of locations for your perfect wedding party photos.
This wedding was so fun! The bride and groom met when they started working together and they knew shortly after that they were meant to be. Their personalities balance perfectly and their wedding was just what they always dreamed of.
This is a selection of my favorite images from the day. I was second shooting for Blessed Beyond Belief Photography and I absolutely love working with Dana. I was also able to make a short film for the bride and groom, which can be seen at the end of this post. Be sure to check it out!
Wedding Dress Details
The bride’s wedding dress was beautiful with lots of bead work and delicate details.
Getting Ready
The bride got ready in one of the side rooms at the barn. This was the ideal location for her bridesmaids to join her and check in on the reception details in the barn. The bride’s eyes were filled with joyful tears as she thought of the day ahead.
First Look
The first look was so sweet! The bride cried while anticipating her groom seeing her for the first time.
Bride and Groom Portraits
After the first look, we took a moment to get some photos of just the bride and groom on the lawn at the Dana Powers House. It was wonderful for them to have a few moments with each other before the rush of the day began.
