A dreamy wedding in Santa Ynez
This wedding was one for the books! The beauty of Santa Ynez was the perfect backdrop for these two amazing brides. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous and no detail was missed. Those who know me, know that I will do just about anything to head back to the Santa Ynez Valley. I grew up there, but seriously…who wouldn’t want to go enjoy Santa Ynez for a day?

Getting Ready
Both lovely ladies got ready at the Sideways Inn in Buellton. They were sure to book rooms on opposite ends of the hotel so there could be no peeking! Both of them wrote their own vows and friends and family were close by to help them get ready for the wedding.
They were planning their wedding from a distance and I was prepared to travel. What made things even better for me was that they were getting married on the same street where I grew up! You don’t have to ask me twice about going there.
Formal Wedding Photos
It was immediately clear that these two had so much love and support from so much family. I loved seeing everyone come together to celebrate their love.
Wedding Reception Photos
The reception was absolutely gorgeous! The abundance of flowers in the courtyard and meticulous planning made this one of the prettiest weddings I have ever photographed.

I really can’t get enough of the Santa Ynez Wedding scene and I love everything about the area. Having grown up there, I feel a special connection to Santa Ynez. I really do look for any reason to go back. There’s really no better reason than a wedding! When I photograph weddings in Santa Ynez, I get to combine two of the things I love the most. It’s a true winning situation.
