Vintage Monday Club Wedding

Eric and Shannon had the most beautiful vintage wedding at the Monday Club in San Luis Obispo. The venue was just right for the vintage feel and the California hillsides added to the Hollywood feel of the day.

No one could have imagined the curve ball that Mother Nature decided to throw that day. It was the hottest day on record in San Luis Obispo and the thermometer topped out at 120 degrees! Eric and Shannon were champions and pushed through the heat to give their guests a wonderful experience and to have the lasting wedding pictures they had always dreamed of.

It was worth pushing through and now they can look back fondly on their record-breaking wedding day.

My approach to wedding photography is simple. I want the bride and groom to have fun and be themselves! I love the candid moments. Capturing the way he looks at you when you don’t know he’s looking are what I’m after. Genuine smiles come from genuine happiness and that’s what I capture.

With couples, I like to have them interact with each other as much as possible. Of course, the posed pictures are important, but I like to focus on what makes the two of you unique.

Let’s do this together!
