Fallen Oaks Estate in Paso Robles, CA
When Lainey contacted me about photographing her wedding, I was excited, to say the least. The wedding was planned at the beautiful Home Sweet Home in Templeton. I’ve always had a soft spot for Home Sweet Home and was thrilled at the thought of photographing there again. The plan was going well and everything was falling into place. The videographer had been lined up and all the other vendors were ready for this wedding. We were busy planning and getting excited as the day drew near. Then Covid-19 happened and put a screeching halt to everyone’s plans.
Lainey would not be deterred by the changes. She set a new date and had new invitations printed. Roll with the punches, right? Everyone was available on the new date, so it was a go. Or so she thought. Covid hung around a little longer as if to say “nope, not yet.”
Not to worry…a new date will be found. Time and time again, plans fell through while dates and guest counts could not be agreed upon. Kari, the wedding planner, had one last trick up her sleeve to try to help make this wedding a reality. Another venue, not far from the first was available. Fallen Oaks Estate came to the rescue and make this bride’s dream wedding come to life. On what was the busiest, most common wedding day of the whole year, Lainey and Tyler finally got to have their dream wedding, surrounded by family and friends. Fallen Oaks Estate provided the perfect backdrop and I think Lainey would agree that it was worth the wait.
Here are some pictures of the beautiful bride, her handsome groom and the people who made the day so special for them both.
