Appel Inn Wedding
When Nate and Chelsea asked me to photograph their wedding, I was over the moon, to say the least. I was so excited for them and looking forward to a trip back east for the wedding. The greenery alone is enough to make any photographer drool (especially one who is used to the dry California hillsides) and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. The Appel Inn was the PERFECT backdrop for Nate and Chelsea’s wedding!
Before I flew out for the wedding, I wanted to get to know them a little better, so I asked a few questions (at the bottom of this post). Their answers are absolutely adorable, if you ask me. I’m so excited to see where life takes them and I’m looking forward to the journeys they will travel together.
Getting Ready Photos
First Looks
We did three first looks with the bride. The first was with her bridesmaids. Her father saw her next. Then, it was time for the big reveal with the groom. The bride was stunning in her beautiful gown!
The Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was outside on a beautiful summer day. The cloud cover offered a nice break from the heat and made the lighting absolutely dreamy.
Formal Portraits
The formal portraits were amazing at Appel Inn. The backdrop of this beautiful venue is stunning. I think I could probably photograph a wedding here every month for a year without running out of gorgeous places for photos.
